Welcome to Lux! I'm Rachel Barber, FNP-C. I've practiced aesthetic medicine since 2013 and opened Lux in 2017 because I wanted more time with each patient and a more personal approach to professional aesthetic medical care.
Lux is intentionally unhurried with an emphasis on thoughtful recommendations, continuity, and getting to know my patients over time.
My approach to treatment.
I don't offer every trending aesthetic treatment, and I don't believe more treatment is always better. I focus on a limited number of treatments that I know work well and use these procedures selectively.
Sometimes that means wrinkle relaxer. Sometimes it means addressing skin quality, collagen loss or changes in facial structure. And sometimes my recommendation is to leave something alone.
You don't need to know what treatment you need before coming in. That's part of my job.

Lux Medical Aesthetics is an established, appointment-only practice dedicated to personalized care, natural results, and long-term patient relationships.
Many returning patients reserve their maintenance appointments approximately three months in advance. New patient appointments are welcomed, though availability is limited and appointments may book several weeks to a few months ahead.
